Make the greeting warm and sincere. There are three components to a sincere greeting – the smile, making eye contact and the handshake.

The Smile:

Research suggests that a smile may be good for you. You may actually be able to improve your mood by simply smiling. So the next time you are feeling blue – SMILE. It may just lift your spirits. It is not a cure-all, but in a struggle with “the gloomies” anything that helps even in a small way is worth a try.
